The “Children First” Plan

To develop and initiate data driven SMART goals that bring about increased leadership development, member retention and organizational growth.


Administrative

  • Review and consolidate the committee structure to form regional teams working directly with governors and their committee chairs.
  • Allocate budgets for growth and other key committees.

Leadership

  • Develop more online learning opportunities for leaders and membership that meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
  • Develop or expand mentorship, team building, diversity and fundraising training for leaders and general membership.

Marketing and Communication

  • Continue the expansion of marketing and branding strategy that is engaging, inclusive and sets us apart as the “expert” in our area of service to children and youth.
  • Support Junior Optimist International expansion.
  • Communicate with members, clubs, districts seeking growth in retention and expansion of our organizations’ mission statement.

Partnership

  • Partner and seek improved communication with our International Clubs.
  • Increase and strengthen partnerships with other service organizations.
